Having never seen goats being packed, this book gave me all the tools I needed to give it a confident try. A year later, I have 6 goats in training, 3 pack saddles made from kits, 1 set of purchased panniers, and two sets of dog packs (I got someone’s unused Frostline kit packs, since finances were tight). At first I was scared the goats wouldn’t follow me, but the more walks we take, the better it gets. Goats are just right for me, and packing them is so much easier than dealing with horses on the trail or cross country. This book was just what I needed.
