I tie 6 goats up every night to feed them and these ties are strong and easy to use even with gloves. If the goats tangle their feet while waiting for food, shorten the tie by clipping it to itself at the hook. I also use them when saddling the goats at the shortened size. Do not use them on walks unless you are holding onto the tie the whole time; if you make it a loop and let them run free, their front legs can get caught, or the loop can get caught on trees. I use one tie on the milk stanchion as none of my goats will let their head be enclosed in the head holding device, but all will let me clip their collars in to the tie around the feeder brace.
