These coats are well made and fit well. But they really need loops around the back legs to keep them from flipping up over the goats neck in the wind. I added some to the coats I bought and would have been willing to pay more for a better product. (We listened and have now added rear leg loops to our coats. Thanks for helping to improve our products. Terri & Rex Summerfield NWPG)

I received two large goat coats today, nylon lining. Tried them on today, very nice quality and fit. I look forward to using them in the mountains.

Oddly enough, I am, perhaps, most impressed by these goat coats out of all items I have received from NWPG. I am new to goat packing but this year we hit very bad weather (rain at 33 degrees, then received 16 in. of snow). I put the goat coats on because the goats gor soaked and it was getting dark. In the morning the goats were dry and not shivering (I was surprised). These coats are reasonable waterproof and work better than I expected. The goats also like these things. They stay on well even while on the trail. In my opinion, these are well worth the money if you are planning on using goats in the high country through the fall.
